thumbelievable, I know, and yet, it was obvious really. it's not quite perfect, a few characters I'm not satisfied with and neither complete printable ASCII, but within the limits of my anatomy I'll have to settle. otherwise I pretty much nailed it I reckon. i was going to properly kern it and everything, but it was a silly idea that was only supposed to have taken an afternoon. after all, I ended up knuckling down for almost a week of soft labour! a bit of a tedious process, but I learned some useful tricks along the way, for example: were I to do it again I probably would not do it at all. but it has definitely increased my appreciation for typography, perhaps the most invisibly consequential of all forms of design. to any typographers, I apologise for this vicious affront to the art. lastly, jacuzzi.
